OUR DISTRICT
A fellowship rooted in the plains, reaching for the nations.
The West Texas & Plains District was birthed in 2012 from the former Gulf Latin American District (GLAD) Council of the Assemblies of God. We are a cooperative fellowship affiliated with the General Council of the Assemblies of God in Springfield, Missouri, organized to evangelize the West Texas area, both domestically and around the world.
El Distrito de West Texas & Plains se creó en 2012 a partir del antiguo Consejo del Distrito Latinoamericano del Golfo (GLAD) de las Asambleas de Dios. Somos una comunidad cooperativa afiliada al Consejo General de las Asambleas de Dios en Springfield, Misuri, organizada con el objetivo de evangelizar la zona de West Texas, tanto a nivel nacional como en todo el mundo.

Develop visionary and passionate church planters in areas that do not have an Assembly of God church.

Emphasizing the great commission through sponsoring missionaries, missions projects, and developing missionaries from our district.
We empower the individual by affirming the call of God upon their life, by connecting them to a network of resources, and by mobilizing them to fulfill God’s purpose for their life.
