OUR HISTORY
Birthed in 2008. Built on cooperative fellowship.
The West Texas and Plains District was birthed in 2008 from the former Gulf Latin American District Council of the Assemblies of God. It is a fellowship affiliated with the General Council of the Assemblies of God in Springfield, Missouri.
Organized with the motive to evangelize the West Texas area domestically and to the world, the district lives out a bilingual, multi-generational heritage. We minister to ministers, plant churches in unreached corners of the plains, and send missionaries far beyond our region.

El West Texas y Plains District surgió en 2008 a partir del antiguo Consejo del Distrito Latinoamericano del Golfo de las Asambleas de Dios. Se trata de una comunidad afiliada al Consejo General de las Asambleas de Dios en Springfield, Misuri.
Organizado con el objetivo de evangelizar la zona del oeste de Texas tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, el distrito mantiene una tradición bilingüe y multigeneracional. Prestamos apoyo a los ministros, fundamos iglesias en rincones de las llanuras donde aún no se ha llegado y enviamos misioneros mucho más allá de nuestra región.
